Spin & Edge
Skaters ages 6 to 17 are welcome! Skaters must have passed Basic 6 (2026) or PreFreeskate (2027 and forward) to register.
Spin & Edge helps to refocus and remind skaters that it's not all about the jumps. Learn To Skate USA and US Figure Skating have implemented judging systems that evaluate skaters' spins and skating quality with nearly as much, or more point value. This class is a refreshing take on the skater's performance as a whole, reminding us that Spins & Edge (skating quality) is an equal part in that presentation.
Beginning Spin
Skaters ages 6 to 17 are welcome! Skaters must have passed Basic 6 (2026) or PreFreeskate (2027 and forward) to register.
Instructors work on basic spin technique, teaching balance, speed, and rotation. This class heavily focuses on basic spin positions and creating a strong foundation to build upon as the skater progresses in levels.
Advanced Spin
Skaters ages 6 to 17 are welcome! Skaters must have passed Freeskate 4 to register.
Advanced Spin class builds on the foundation from Beginning Spin, introducing more difficult spin variations, combination spins, and even flying spins!
